The Holidays are going to look a little bit different this year. It may be hard for some families to come to grips with, but the safety of everyone comes first. In spite of this reality, that doesn’t mean families cannot make the most of their holiday season this year.
We’ve compiled a small list of ways you can still enjoy the holidays with your loved ones this year, while staying safe during the pandemic.
Send Gifts Through the Mail
If you would rather avoid putting loved ones at risk, simply send their Holiday gifts via your local mailing system! If you can’t be in close proximity, there’s nothing better than still ensuring they have their gifts in the mail just in time for the Holiday season.
Drive by Parade
Something that has been extremely popular during the pandemic are car parades! These parades allow you to see and interact with loved ones for a celebration while driving your car. We’ve seen this socially distanced option being used for birthdays parties, graduations, anniversaries, and a variety of other occasions. Why not utilize this option for the Holidays? Never leave your car and get the chance to exchange gifts with each other in passing.
It may not be ideal that you can’t see family members face-to-face. But the next best thing in line is video calls! Try scheduling a zoom call with loved ones and enjoy each other’s company from afar.
Outdoor Event with Social Distancing
This should be the last option chosen if none of the options listed above sound appealing. If you would like to truly enjoy the company of your family and loved ones during the Holiday season, invite them over for an outdoor event! Being outdoors creates air circulation and allows for safe social distancing practices.
Again, this will require planning because surfaces will have to be sanitized and other safety measures will have to be considered.
Whichever method you choose to celebrate the Holidays with your loved ones, we simply encourage you to take safety precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
